First, turn the power "OFF" on both your remote and your board.

Now, turn just your remote power "ON" by pressing and holding the Remote On/Off Button for up to three seconds.  The remote Signal Indicator should light up solid green as shown below:

If it does not light up green, then charge your remote and try again.

Turn on your board's power by pressing (but do not hold down) the Board On/Off Switch.  If it is the first time you've powered on your board, it may connect with the remote automatically.  Otherwise, continue to the next step.

The picture below shows board power "ON" but the remote not yet paired.  If your remote looks like this while riding, it may have lost connection.  If it does not immediately re-pair on its own, please contact support.

How to Pair

With both the remote and board powered "ON", press and hold the on/off button of your board for five seconds until the on/off button begins blinking. It is now in pairing mode.

Once the board on/off button is blinking, take a paperclip or other long skinny item and press the pairing button on the remote. Do not press it hard or hold for a long time, just a tap will do.

When paired, both the Board On/Off Switch and Remote Signal Indicator will begin to blink in unison and the battery meter LEDs on the remote will illuminate.

DO NOT HOLD DOWN PAIRING BUTTON ON THE REMOTE, ONLY QUICKLY PRESS AND RELEASE.

If the Signal Indicator on the remote begins blinking extremely fast, you may have held the button for too long and it will not pair. If this happens, turn off the remote and try again without holding it down.
